Land Acknowledgement

Counterspiral Care humbly acknowledges that we live, work, and play on the unceded and traditional lands of many Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island. As a virtual therapy practice, our team resides across Ontario, including on the lands of the Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga (Haudenosaunee), Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ, Mississauga, and Wendake-Nionwentsïo First Nations. We acknowledge these and the many other Nations, both recorded and unrecorded, as past, present, and future caretakers of this land.

We recognize that without a commitment to thoughtful action, acknowledgement is an empty and meaningless gesture. We are actively anti-racist and dedicated to ongoing decolonizing work, including continuous learning and growth surrounding Indigenous practices and advocacy.
